Multiplayer escape room game

Escape First is an escape room puzzle game developed by OnSkull Games. The game challenges you and five other players to escape a room. You can play the game solo or with a team of up to six members. There are three rooms to escape from, and each comes with challenges that you need to overcome.

Escape First is a desktop game that you can play using a keyboard and mouse or a gamepad. However, it antes up the experience by supporting virtual reality. More than that, you can play it competitively or co-op with other players

What is Escape First?

Escape First is a first-person escape room game. As mentioned, it provides the players with three separate rooms to escape from, namely Psycho Circus, The Red Button, and Lost in Time. Each will have its own horrific challenge that you have to overcome as you solve the puzzle. As with similar games, the goal is to find the key that will let you get out of the room.

Although you can play it solo, the game is designed to be a multiplayer title. You can gather up to six people and work as a team to solve the puzzle. However, you can also try the Versus mode, where each player will be locked alone and try to escape before the others do. You can also increase the fun by playing it with your virtual reality set.

Players must note, however, that the game is flawed. The puzzles vary in every room. Some are bland, while some take a long time to understand. The controls are also clunky, making actions such as picking up objects difficult. Moreover, the gameplay is relatively short, especially if you play it co-op. And since it has basic gameplay, you likely won't pick it up again once you complete all the rooms.

Is the game good?

Overall, Escape First is a game you can pick up if you are into escape room puzzles. It has mechanics you would expect from titles of the said genre. Moreover, you can play it solo, co-op, or competitively. Even better, it supports virtual reality. Sadly, it comes with a lot of flaws that affect the players' experience. The gameplay is also short without much replay value

Our team performs checks each time a new file is uploaded and periodically reviews files to confirm or update their status. This comprehensive process allows us to set a status for any downloadable file as follows:

Clean

It’s extremely likely that this software program is clean.

What does this mean?

We have scanned the file and URLs associated with this software program in more than 50 of the world's leading antivirus services; no possible threat has been detected.

Warning

This software program is potentially malicious or may contain unwanted bundled software.

Why is the software program still available?

Based on our scan system, we have determined that these flags are possibly false positives.

What is a false positive?

It means a benign program is wrongfully flagged as malicious due to an overly broad detection signature or algorithm used in an antivirus program.
